MEET NANNY: AVERY
Full-Time - San Francisco
I started my childcare career while obtaining my bachelor’s degree, while taking child development units at Chico State University. This launched my love for caretaking, child development, and household management. After graduating, I began working with a family, caring for their newborn and 2-year-old. I became a part of this family, with our personal relationship continuing past our working relationship. In the years that followed, I worked with children aged newborn to five, always making it a point to continue my childhood development education.
I have also worked as a house assistant and personal chef. In this role, I worked with the landscaping and gardening staff, oversaw household reorganization, and handled the changing needs of the house. I created weekly menus, while working with dietary restrictions, did the weekly shopping, and prepared the meals for the family. I have a deep passion for assisting families with creating a beautiful family environment. I make it a point to develop lasting relationships with the families I work for!

I believe...That I can create an inclusive environment for children to be themselves. All children are so special, and I love getting to foster an environment where they can light up the world around them.
WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE A NANNY?

I stay up to date with current child development trends and research, and love to collaborate with families on implementing the research into our shared childcare approach. I believe that children are our brightest futures, and I feel so lucky that I get to help children shine.
