About the Family
A warm, welcoming family in the beautiful Presidio is looking for a nurturing, experienced part-time nanny to care for their sweet 4-month-old son. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who genuinely loves the infant stage and finds joy in supporting a child’s earliest milestones and development.
Mom works from a dedicated home office and values creating a calm, collaborative environment where everyone can thrive. The family is hoping to build a long-term relationship with a nanny who will become a trusted partner as their son grows. They also plan to expand their family in the future, making this an exciting opportunity with the potential to grow into a full-time role over time.
Located near Lovers’ Lane, the neighborhood offers beautiful parks, walking trails, museums, and endless opportunities for enriching outings, making it an ideal environment for an active nanny who enjoys getting children out into the community.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is warm, engaging, and genuinely passionate about infant development. They understand that these first months are foundational and enjoy creating age-appropriate activities that encourage cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.
This family would love someone proactive, communicative, and confident caring for infants while also encouraging exploration through outings, walks, classes, parks, museums, and other enriching experiences as their son grows.
The right person is dependable, speaks fluent English, enjoys building long-term relationships with families, and is excited about the possibility of growing alongside this family as their childcare needs evolve in the years ahead.
Child-Related Duties
• Provide loving, attentive care for a 4-month-old infant
• Support age-appropriate developmental milestones and activities
• Maintain feeding, nap, and daily routines
• Engage in interactive play, tummy time, reading, and sensory activities
• Take the baby on walks and age-appropriate outings
• Drive to parks, classes, museums, and enrichment activities using the family vehicle
• Prepare bottles and maintain feeding supplies
• Wash, fold, and organize the baby’s laundry
• Keep the nursery, play areas, and baby-related items clean and organized
• Communicate daily updates regarding routines, milestones, and development
Household Related Duties
This is primarily a child-focused position. During naps or when childcare responsibilities are complete, the family would appreciate light household support related to the baby, including:
• Washing bottles and feeding supplies
• Tidying the nursery and play areas
• Organizing baby clothing, toys, and supplies
• Light meal preparation for the baby as age-appropriate
• Other child-related tasks that help keep the household running smoothly
To ensure the success of our nanny position, we have established the following requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of recent, professional experience in childcare.
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Impressive references from past employers, demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and exceptional childcare skills.
Willingness to undergo two background checks, namely Trustline and Nanny Verify, ensuring the safety and security of our children.
Valid U.S. citizenship or work authorization.
Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
CPR certification (if applicable).
Current vaccinations, including flu, Tdap, and proof of Covid-19 vaccination and boosters.
