THEIR GENUINE NANNY
Meet Our Hydrangea Family!
About the Family
This fun, active family splits their time between their primary home in Russian Hill and their beautiful weekend retreat in Napa, just minutes from Yountville. They have two little girls, aged 2 and 8 months, and a sweet, hypoallergenic doodle. They love spending weekends together outdoors, exploring wine country, and keeping a lively but organized home.
Their Ideal Candidate
The family is looking for a weekend nanny who is warm, proactive, and physically active—someone who can keep up with two busy little ones and naturally support the flow of family life. The right person is organized, tidy, and comfortable stepping in where needed—whether it’s caring for the girls, tidying up after play, or putting away deliveries. They value someone who knows when to blend into the background, asks thoughtful questions, and works seamlessly in a Type A, well-run household. An energetic nanny who shares their love of structure and fun would be a great fit. Spanish-speaking is a plus, as their toddler is learning!
Responsibilities
Provide loving, engaging care for the two children
Maintain tidiness in children’s areas and shared spaces
Assist with light family tasks such as:
Opening boxes and putting items away
Breaking down packaging and light organization projects
Light tidying of areas where the children play and their laundry as needed
Support the family’s routines and help keep weekends running smoothly
Requirements
Able to make at least a one-year commitment
Prior experience and applicable references with babies and toddlers ages
Driving isn’t required, but if the nanny is open to pick-ups and drop-offs, a car will be provided
Must-Have Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is a must
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Impressive references from past employers
Willingness to undergo background checks and DMV check
Current vaccinations, including flu, Tdap, and proof of Covid-19 vaccination and boosters.
