THEIR GENUINE NANNY

Meet Our Hydrangea Family!

About the Family

This warm and thoughtful family in the Inner Richmond neighborhood of San Francisco is seeking a long-term nanny to care for their sweet seven-month-old daughter. She is a joyful baby who loves music, singing, and having books read to her. The family also has a two-and-a-half-year-old son who has his own nanny, so this role is primarily focused on their daughters’ care. They value safety, presence, and genuine engagement, and are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and truly enjoys caring for babies.

They appreciate a calm, nurturing energy, reliability, and someone who is fully present during working hours. This is a long-term opportunity for a nanny who wants to grow with a family and take ownership of supporting a child’s early development.

Their Ideal Candidate

Their ideal nanny is experienced with infants and genuinely loves this stage of childhood. She is warm, attentive, and safety-focused. She takes pride in being present and engaged, enjoys supporting developmental milestones, and understands the importance of consistent routines. She is reliable, organized, and professional, with minimal personal phone use during working hours. She communicates clearly with parents and is comfortable working in a home where parents are sometimes present. Cooking is a bonus if she enjoys it, but the primary focus is caring for their daughter.

The role includes supporting care for a 7‑month‑old and assisting with light household tasks to help the family’s day run smoothly. Responsibilities include simple meal prep and easy cooking (recipes can be provided), general tidying of the kitchen and play areas, and helping with laundry. One parent will be home most of the time, so the family is truly looking for a reliable second pair of hands. The position can offer 30+ hours per week for candidates open to adding some Friday or weekend availability.
