SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday: 8:00 am- 5:00 pm/6:00 pm (45 Hours Per Week)
CHILDREN: 3.5-year-old + Newborn Baby coming January/February 2027!
SALARY: $45+ DOE (PTO Package Included + Guaranteed Hours)

About the Family
A warm, easygoing family in Pacific Heights is looking for a kind, dependable Nanny / Family Assistant to become a long-term part of their lives. They currently have an energetic and curious 3.5-year-old daughter who will begin preschool this September, and they are excited to welcome a new baby at the end of January or beginning of February.
They describe themselves as flexible, appreciative, and collaborative. They value a nanny who takes initiative, enjoys staying busy, and naturally looks for ways to help without needing constant direction. Because they have such a trusting and relaxed parenting style, they’re hoping to find someone who is equally responsible, professional, and proactive.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys growing with a family through different stages—from supporting a preschooler to helping welcome a newborn.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is warm, patient, reliable, and confident, balancing childcare with light family assistant responsibilities. They love planning fun outings, encouraging learning through play, and helping children explore the world around them through parks, museums, libraries, and neighborhood adventures.
As the older child transitions into preschool, the role will naturally evolve to include family assistant duties during school hours, then expand to include infant care after the new baby arrives.

Enjoys creating enriching days filled with outings and age-appropriate activities.

Is comfortable driving for preschool drop-offs, pickups, and activities.
Has a reliable vehicle (preferred, though not required).
Would enjoy occasional travel with the family.
Child-Related Duties
Provide loving, attentive care for a preschool-aged child and, beginning in early 2027, a newborn.
School drop-offs and pickups.
Plan engaging developmental activities and local outings.
Visits to parks, museums, libraries, playgrounds, and community activities.
Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children.
Children’s laundry and organization.
Maintain children’s bedrooms, play areas, and supplies.
Support developmental milestones through play and daily routines.
Household Related Duties
While the older child is in school, responsibilities will include helping keep the household running smoothly, such as:
Family laundry.
Grocery shopping and household errands.
Keeping common areas and children’s spaces organized.
Light meal preparation.
Rotating seasonal clothing and toys.
Restocking household essentials.
Miscellaneous family assistant tasks that help support the household.
To ensure the success of our nanny position, we have established the following requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of recent, professional experience in childcare.
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Impressive references from past employers, demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and exceptional childcare skills.
Willingness to undergo two background checks, namely Trustline and Nanny Verify, ensuring the safety and security of our children.
Valid U.S. citizenship or work authorization.
Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
CPR certification (if applicable).
Current vaccinations, including flu, Tdap, and proof of Covid-19 vaccination and boosters.
