Welcome to our endearing Tulip family! We are located in the charming neighborhood of Noe Valley in San Francisco. Currently, we are seeking a nurturing and proactive Nanny and Family Assistant to enrich the lives of our two spirited daughters, aged 8.5 and 3.5. Situated conveniently near public transportation with parking accommodations available, this role offers the opportunity to provide a secure and loving environment for the children while also contributing to household upkeep.
Responsibilities include facilitating school drop-offs and pick-ups, requiring comfort with city navigation and a pristine driving record. The standard schedule entails Monday through Friday from 1 pm to 6 pm, extending until 8 pm on Thursdays to support our weekly date night. There is also the possibility of additional hours for family assistance tasks.

Desirable attributes include the capacity for occasional travel (1-2 times annually, typically for winter ski trips) and availability for 1-2 overnight stays per month. Duties:
Driving: Responsible for pick-ups, drop-offs, and city driving for activities.
Organizing: Assist with organizing clothing, toys, and general organizational projects.
Laundry: Handle kids' laundry, with the possibility of including parents' laundry.
Errands: Run errands such as dry cleaning and package deliveries.
Family Meal Prep: Help with meal preparation, including Instacart orders, Whole Foods runs, and 3-4 days per week of meal prep.
Qualifications:
Experience with young school-age children, understanding their unique needs and developmental stages.
Excellent and safe driving skills, with a clean DMV record and familiarity with navigating the city.
A genuine passion for working with children, demonstrating love and care in all interactions.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Excellent communication skills, fostering clear and open dialogue.
Adaptability to meet the family's needs and routines, while also assisting with household tasks such as laundry, meal prep, errands, tidying, and organizing.
Seeking a long-term position with a commitment of 1-5 years.
To ensure the success of our nanny position, we have established the following requirements:
A minimum of 3-5 years of recent, professional experience as a nanny.
Strong English communication skills, enabling effective interaction with both children and adults.
Impressive references from past employers, attesting to your professionalism and exceptional caregiving abilities.
Willingness to undergo two background checks: Trustline and Nanny Verify, ensuring the safety and security of our family.
Valid U.S. citizenship or work authorization.
Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
CPR certification (if applicable).
Current vaccinations, including flu, Tdap, and proof of Covid-19 vaccination and boosters.
