About the Family
This warm and thoughtful family in San Francisco near the ballpark is seeking a full-time nanny to support their 5-month-old daughter. Both parents are working professionals with high standards, but they are incredibly caring, excited about parenthood, and eager to find a true partner in raising their daughter.

Their Ideal Candidate
They are seeking a childcare professional with a strong emphasis on early childhood development. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with established learning frameworks such as Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or similar approaches, and preferably hold an ECE degree or other formal training in child development. Experience with infants is essential, as the family’s baby is currently 5 months old. Candidates should be well‑versed in developmental milestones and able to provide age‑appropriate support, stimulation, and guidance to foster healthy growth during this critical stage.
The ideal candidate is an experienced hybrid nanny and household manager who is:
Experienced with infants, including developmental milestones and age-appropriate activities
Familiar with child development principles, ideally RIE-aligned or with a similar philosophy
Calm, loving, and attentive with a professional and proactive approach
Self-directed, resourceful, and able to anticipate family needs
Flexible with schedule and daily flow
Comfortable stepping into household support as needed
Responsibilities
Provide full support for the infant in partnership with parents
Feed, change, bathe, and engage the baby with sensory and developmental activities
Take the baby on walks, to playgrounds, music classes, and other age-appropriate outings
Track the baby’s day and provide updates to parents
Manage infant-related tasks, including meal prep, laundry, bottle and pump part cleaning, organizing toys and clothes, restocking supplies, and maintaining clean play spaces
Share expertise and guidance on developmental milestones and age-appropriate activities
Household Support
Maintain general tidiness of the home
Organize surfaces and counters, manage clutter, load or run dishwasher, take out trash
Laundry and light household tasks as needed
Grocery and baby-related errands
Help identify and improve household systems when helpful
Schedule & Employment Details
Full-time, roughly Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
W2 employment with flexibility as needed
Guaranteed hours with paid sick days and benefits
Occasional travel flexibility is a nice-to-have
Driving experience is a bonus, family car available
Requirements & Expectations
Infant and toddler experience required
Child development background preferred
CPR and First Aid certification for infants and children
Comfortable handling emergencies, including choking, allergic reactions, fevers, injuries, and evacuations
Background and reference checks required
High attention to safety and privacy
Clear, responsive communication with parents
To ensure the success of our nanny position, we have established the following requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of recent, professional experience in childcare.
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Impressive references from past employers, demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and exceptional childcare skills.
Willingness to undergo two background checks, namely Trustline and Nanny Verify, ensuring the safety and security of our children.
Valid U.S. citizenship or work authorization.
Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
CPR certification (if applicable).
Current vaccinations, including flu, Tdap, and proof of Covid-19 vaccination and boosters.
