THEIR GENUINE NANNY
Meet Our Clover Family!
About the Family
A warm San Francisco family near Dolores Park (soon to be moving to Pacific Heights in the new year) is looking for an exceptional Full-Time Nanny / Family Assistant to join their household and care for their two young children: a 3-year-old daughter and 6-month-old son. The family plans to move to Pacific Heights in early 2027 and is hoping to find someone who can become an important part of their lives for at least the next two years.
Their 3-year-old daughter is beginning preschool at the end of August and will attend approximately 9:00 AM–3:00 PM. During the school day, the nanny’s primary focus will be their 6-month-old son, making strong infant experience especially important. The nanny will also pick their daughter up from preschool a couple of days each week and should be confident and comfortable caring for both children together.
The family values a calm, happy home and is looking for someone who brings that same energy to their work. They appreciate a caregiver who is steady, dependable, communicative, and genuinely proactive—someone who notices what needs to be done and naturally steps in to help.
Healthy food is also important to the family, and they would love someone who enjoys preparing fresh, nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
Their Ideal Candidate
Their ideal candidate is a calm, steady, warm, and highly capable nanny who is experienced with both babies and toddlers. Someone who is unflappable and can confidently move through a busy day with two young children while maintaining a peaceful, positive demeanor would be an excellent fit.
Reliability and communication are extremely important. The family wants a nanny they can truly depend on—someone who communicates openly, follows through, and takes ownership of their role.
They especially appreciate naturally proactive caregivers. Rather than waiting for a list of instructions, the right person will notice when something needs to be prepared, replenished, tidied, or organized and take care of it. A candidate who enjoys Family Assistant responsibilities and can help keep the household running smoothly may be eligible for compensation at the higher end of the range.
Strong driving skills are also important. A family vehicle is available for use, and the nanny should feel comfortable taking both children to activities and outings throughout San Francisco.
Occasional travel with the family would be a wonderful bonus.
Above all, they are hoping to find someone who brings a sense of calm competence to their home: loving and engaging with the children, thoughtful with the parents, and proactive behind the scenes.
