This is a busy, dual-career household with two bright, engaging children (ages 9 and 6) who are curious, expressive, and full of personality. Both children have ADHD and thrive with a thoughtful, collaborative approach rooted in positive reinforcement, emotional awareness, and consistency.
The home is well-run, communicative, and grounded in mutual respect. The parents are kind, organized, and value a true partnership with their nanny. Their previous nanny was with them for four years, and they are looking to build that same long-term, meaningful relationship again. Responsibilities
Childcare Duties
• Morning routines, school preparation, and drop-offs
• Afternoon school pickups and activity coordination
• Driving to and from extracurriculars (family car provided)
• Supporting homework, creative play, and engagement
• Preparing fresh, kid-friendly dinners
• Evening routines and occasional bedtime support
• Guiding behavior with warmth, consistency, and emotional awareness
Family Assistant Duties
• Managing children’s schedules and daily logistics
• Children’s laundry and organization of their spaces
• Tidying common areas related to the children
• Meal planning and prep during school hours
• Running errands, restocking household items
• Light household support and organization projects
• Maintaining a smooth, well-functioning daily rhythm
Additional Details
• Long-term position, start ASAP

• Strong driver required (family car provided, parking available)
• Two friendly Cavalier dogs in the home (separate care in place)

To ensure the success of our nanny position, we have established the following requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of recent, professional experience in childcare.
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Impressive references from past employers, demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and exceptional childcare skills.
Willingness to undergo two background checks, namely Trustline and Nanny Verify, ensuring the safety and security of our children.
Valid U.S. citizenship or work authorization.
Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
CPR certification (if applicable).
Current vaccinations, including flu, Tdap, and proof of Covid-19 vaccination and boosters.
