THEIR GENUINE NANNY

Meet Our Daisy Family!

About the Family

A warm, welcoming, and busy Bernal Heights family is seeking a long-term afternoon/evening nanny to join their team as they prepare for mom’s return to work this Fall. With three wonderful children, including a newborn and two school-age children, they are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys being part of a well-supported household.

The family already has a full-time nanny/family assistant and is looking for a second nanny who naturally knows how to jump in where needed. This role is less about being assigned tasks and more about becoming an extra set of capable hands during the busiest part of the day. Afternoons are full of school pickups, activities, dinner, and the wonderful chaos that comes with raising three active children. They are hoping to find someone who enjoys working alongside parents and another nanny while confidently taking initiative and helping the household flow smoothly.

The parents have demanding careers and deeply value teamwork, communication, and reliability. They appreciate people who are thoughtful, hardworking, and naturally observant. Someone who notices what needs to be done, whether that’s driving a child to soccer, preparing dinner so the parents can spend more time with the children, folding laundry, or simply stepping in without waiting to be asked, will feel right at home here.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys working with energetic children, values collaboration, and wants to become a trusted, long-term member of a family’s support system.

The Ideal Candidate

This family is looking for an experienced, energetic nanny who genuinely enjoys being part of a team. Their ideal candidate is proactive, flexible, and confident in making thoughtful decisions throughout the day without requiring constant direction.

They would love someone genuinely excited about working alongside a co‑nanny. They adore their current nanny, but with the arrival of the new baby, they recognize that the workload is simply too much for one person, and they want to prevent burnout while creating a strong, supportive team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, anticipates needs before being asked, communicates well with both parents and their co‑nanny, and finds real satisfaction in making a family’s day run more smoothly. The right person is naturally helpful, hardworking, organized, and adaptable, with the ability to shift comfortably between childcare and family assistant responsibilities as priorities change.

Because the older children have busy schedules, they are looking for someone who enjoys staying active, is comfortable driving throughout San Francisco using the family vehicle, and can confidently manage afternoon logistics. Most importantly, they are hoping to find someone who brings warmth, positive energy, initiative, and a true partnership mentality to the role.

They are comfortable guaranteeing 30 hours per week. Day‑to‑day responsibilities would include caring for the baby from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. while their other nanny drives the older kiddos to their activities; on some days, depending on the schedule, you may also be with one additional child during this window. From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the role shifts into a mother’s helper position, supporting the household with any remaining laundry, dishes, light cleaning, and helping the children get ready for bed.
