THEIR GENUINE NANNY
Meet Our Poppy Family!
About the Family
This warm and welcoming Tiburon family is looking for a nurturing and proactive Nanny/Family Assistant to join their household and become a trusted extension of mom. Their three children — ages 7, 5, and 3 — are active, curious, and full of personality. The older two will be in school full-time, and the youngest attends school three days a week (and will be in full-time school next fall). They value kindness, calm energy, and a focus on early childhood development. Past nannies have thrived here when they’ve brought creativity, structure, and educational engagement into the children’s daily lives. The family keeps a beautifully organized home, has a housekeeper who handles cleaning and cooking, and is looking for someone who can step into a higher-level role — managing family logistics and making life run smoothly behind the scenes.
Our family is seeking a schedule of Monday - Thursday, 6:30 am-5:30/6:00 pm, and optional Fridays from 6:30 am-1:00 pm.
Their Ideal Candidate
They’re seeking a warm, dependable, and highly capable nanny who thrives in both childcare and family assistant responsibilities. Someone calm under pressure, deeply invested in child development, and confident in balancing busy family schedules will be a great match. A degree in Early Childhood Education is a huge plus, as is a natural ability to create intentional, educational play and learning opportunities. Tech-savviness is important for managing calendars, school schedules, and household organization. This family values flexibility — the role will evolve as the children spend more time in school, so a willingness to adjust duties and hours as needed is key. Comfort with occasional overnights is a must, and travel is a nice-to-have.
Responsibilities
Provide loving, attentive care for three children, with a strong focus on education and developmental milestones
Plan and engage in intentional learning activities, games, and playtime
Manage morning routines including breakfast, school prep, and drop-offs
Handle children’s laundry and tidying of their rooms and play areas
Oversee family calendar, schedules, and logistics
Coordinate household errands and organizational projects
Support with higher-level household tasks (house maintenance oversight, vendor coordination, etc.)
Flexibility for occasional overnights and potential travel
Drive family car (Tesla) for school and activities
Must-Have Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is a must
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Impressive references from past employers
Willingness to undergo background checks and DMV check
Current vaccinations, including flu, Tdap, and proof of COVID-19 vaccination and boosters.
