THEIR GENUINE NANNY

Meet Our Rose Family!

About the Family

Our kind and engaging Cow Hollow family is looking for a bright, dependable Family Assistant to join their crew part-time! With school, sports, and after-school activities keeping them busy, they’re hoping to welcome someone who can help their afternoons run a little more smoothly.

Though this is a part-time role, the family views their nanny as an extension of the household and values open communication, mutual respect, and a team spirit.

The Role

The family is flexible on which days you work and is happy to accommodate your class schedule or other obligations. Typical hours will fall between 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm, with one weekday date night included each week.

This position goes beyond traditional childcare—it’s a great fit for someone who enjoys supporting school-aged children, offering light academic help, and bringing a calm, organized presence to the home. Responsibilities include school pickups, driving to activities, light tutoring or homework help, and general afternoon support until the parents return home.

The Ideal Candidate

They are looking for someone reliable, upbeat, and organized—someone who connects easily with kids and brings positive energy to each day. You should feel confident navigating the city, have a clean driving record, and enjoy jumping in where needed.

Experience working with school-age children or a background in education is a big plus. If you’re someone who’s calm, capable, and ready to make a real impact in a family’s daily rhythm, this could be the perfect fit.

Responsibilities:

  • School pickups and activity drop-offs (city driving)

  • Light tutoring or homework help (if qualified and interested)

  • Supervise and engage the children in meaningful ways after school

  • Help with keeping the household organized and tidy, light laundry & simple meal prep

  • Assist with schedule management and occasional errands

  • Evening date night coverage once per week (more available if desired)

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with school-age children

  • Strong academic skills or tutoring experience preferred

  • Excellent driving skills and clean DMV record

  • Organized, proactive, and communicative

  • Looking for a long-term, part-time commitment

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English

  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is a must

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

  • Impressive references from past employers

  • Willingness to undergo background checks and DMV check (Must have a clean DMV report!)

  • Current vaccinations, including flu, Tdap, and proof of Covid-19 vaccination and boosters.
