About the Family
This warm, down-to-earth family is based in Mill Valley and is welcoming an exciting new chapter. They currently have a sweet five-month-old baby boy, and are expecting their second child in June. They are easygoing, cooperative, and genuinely lovely to work with, with a strong appreciation for partnership, communication, and shared joy in caring for their children. Travel is an important part of their lifestyle, and they are looking for a nanny who enjoys being on the go and embracing new experiences alongside them. Grandparents live nearby in Mill Valley and can offer week-in accommodations when helpful.
Location & Logistics
This position is based in Marin, and the family’s ideal candidate will already reside nearby to ensure reliability and ease of commute. Please note that live‑in accommodations are not provided during the working week. Candidates who live locally will benefit from a manageable commute, a stronger work‑life balance, and the ability to integrate seamlessly into the family’s routine.
Their Ideal Candidate
The family is seeking a seasoned, career nanny with a strong track record and at least 8-10+ years of professional experience. This is someone who truly loves what they do and brings a calm, confident, and joyful presence into the home. The ideal candidate is fun, nurturing, and deeply knowledgeable about infant care, with comfort supporting a newborn as the family grows. A love of cooking is a big plus, as is a collaborative and flexible mindset. While local candidates are preferred, the family is open to relocation for the right person and will offer relocation reimbursement.
