SCHEDULE: 3-4 full days per week, alternating schedule with their current nanny (Guaranteed Hours)
CHILDREN: 4 children - 8, 6.5, 3.5 & 1 month old
SALARY: $45 + Benefits DOE

This warm and lively household in Ross is full of energy, love, and activity. With four children under the age of eight and three friendly dogs, their home is bustling and full of personality. Their longtime nanny, is deeply loved by the kids and very much part of the family. With the recent arrival of their newest little one, they are ready to welcome a co-nanny who can jump in and thrive in a collaborative, high-energy environment. The family values professionalism, humor, and a “roll with it” attitude that fits their busy rhythm.
Their Ideal Candidate:
This family is seeking a seasoned professional who brings confidence, warmth, and flexibility to the table. Someone with solid infant and school-age experience who can navigate the ever-changing needs of a large family while bringing a calm and positive presence to the day. They’d love someone who can partner well with their existing nanny, communicate with ease, and step in as a leader when needed. A great sense of humor, comfort around dogs, and a proactive mindset will make this candidate feel right at home.
Regarding the schedule, the family is flexible and open to finding the best rhythm between the two nannies. Ideally, they would love some weekend coverage—alternating between three and four full days each week could be a great balance. Ultimately, they’re hoping to find someone who values flexibility and can help create a schedule that feels sustainable and supportive for everyone.
Responsibilities:
Provide age-appropriate care for all four children, with a focus on teamwork and flexibility
Confidently manage school-age routines and infant care
Drive to and from activities as needed
Support evening and weekend routines depending on the schedule
Maintain a safe and fun environment, especially around the pool
Be a collaborative co-nanny and team player within the home
Maintain a positive, calm demeanor in a lively setting
Be comfortable with pets and part of the family’s daily flow
Local to Marin County preferred for easy commute
Must-Have Requirements:
A minimum of 3-5 years of recent, professional experience in childcare. (all ages infant-school age)
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Impressive references from past employers, demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and exceptional childcare skills.
Able to make a long-term commitment for a minimum of 3 years.
Willingness to undergo two background checks, namely Trustline and Nanny Verify, ensuring the safety and security of our children.
Valid U.S. citizenship or work authorization.
Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
CPR certification (if applicable).
Current vaccinations, including flu, Tdap, and proof of Covid-19 vaccination.
