THEIR GENUINE NANNY
Meet Our Fern Family!
About the Family
A warm and dynamic family in Russian Hill is seeking a long-term nanny to care for their one-year-old daughter. The family maintains a busy, active lifestyle and is looking for a reliable, professional nanny who can be a steady, trusted presence in their child’s life.
Both parents travel frequently and maintain demanding schedules, so flexibility and strong judgment are important. The household is well supported and includes a house manager who helps coordinate schedules and logistics, allowing the nanny to focus primarily on childcare. The family values a collaborative approach and appreciates someone comfortable working as part of a team in a well-run home.
They lead an active lifestyle and enjoy hosting and entertaining, so occasional longer days and evening extensions will be part of the rhythm of the role. The family is seeking someone adaptable, positive, and confident who can manage a changing schedule while maintaining consistency for their daughter.
Privacy and discretion are extremely important to this family. They are looking for a professional nanny who understands the importance of confidentiality and who is comfortable working in a private home environment.
Their Ideal Candidate
Their ideal nanny has strong toddler experience and a thoughtful understanding of developmental milestones. They are organized, attentive, and naturally engaged, with a genuine interest in supporting a child’s growth through active play and meaningful interaction.
The family would love someone energetic and active, with a positive presence and a calm confidence. A nanny who enjoys being outdoors, staying active, and creating engaging daily routines will thrive in this role. The right person will be upbeat and warm while also having the social awareness to read the room and adapt to the flow of a busy household.
Experience working in a staffed home or alongside other household professionals is helpful, as is a collaborative and respectful working style. The family hopes to find someone with a long-term mindset who takes pride in their work and approaches the role with professionalism and care.
A candidate who lives in San Francisco is preferred. Additional language skills are a welcome bonus, but not required. Candidates must be comfortable signing an NDA.
