Monday-Wednesday-Friday Split Shift: 7:00 AM–8:30 AM, then 4:00 PM-7:00 PM (Split Shift)

SALARY: $40+DOE + Guaranteed Hours + PTO Package

Their little guy is a social butterfly! He's curious, creative, and loves connecting with others. A natural little builder, he enjoys Legos, trains, art projects, and anything that allows him to use his imagination and create something new. He's also developing his early reading skills, and the family would love someone who enjoys encouraging learning through play.
The family values genuine engagement, thoughtful communication, and a nurturing approach to childcare. They're hoping to find someone who makes mornings feel positive and connected, takes an active interest in their son's development, and brings warmth and enthusiasm to everyday routines.
Having previously enjoyed a wonderful relationship with their former nanny, the family appreciates someone who combines a strong understanding of child development, genuine engagement with their son, and the ability to anticipate and support household needs to help the household run more efficiently.

Childcare Duties
Provide warm, attentive, and engaging care for one school-aged child.
Manage morning routines, school drop-offs, and afternoon pickups.
Safely transport the child to school in the Mission and scheduled activities using the the nanny’s personal vehicle.
Accompany him to extracurricular activities, including Thursday swim lessons.
Plan creative, age-appropriate activities that encourage imagination, curiosity, and learning.
Support early literacy, reading readiness, and developmental milestones through fun, engaging interactions.
Encourage independence, positive social skills, and age-appropriate responsibilities.
Prepare snacks and simple meals as needed.
Maintain open, thoughtful communication with parents regarding daily activities and routines.
Family Assistant Duties
During the full workdays on Tuesday and Thursday, the Nanny/Family Assistant will provide light household support while their son is at school.
Responsibilities include:
Family laundry, including washing, folding, and putting items away.
Preparing and packing school and after-school snacks.
Light meal preparation and basic kitchen upkeep.
Running local errands as needed.
Maintaining grocery lists and restocking food and household essentials.
Keeping the refrigerator, pantry, and kitchen spaces tidy and organized.
Helping maintain an organized, well-stocked household.
Proactively identifying and prioritizing tasks to support the family's daily routines.
Qualifications
Professional nanny experience with school-aged children.
Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate engagement.
Excellent driving skills, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.
Experience managing school routines, transportation, and extracurricular activities.
Previous Family Assistant or household-support experience preferred.
Highly organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently.
Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
Warm, playful, patient, and genuinely enthusiastic about working with children.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach with parents.
Flexibility to accommodate occasional schedule changes.
Spanish or Portuguese language skills are a wonderful bonus!
To ensure the success of our nanny position, we have established the following requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of recent, professional experience in childcare.
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Impressive references from past employers, demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and exceptional childcare skills.
Willingness to undergo two background checks, namely Trustline and Nanny Verify, ensuring the safety and security of our children.
Valid U.S. citizenship or work authorization.
Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
CPR certification (if applicable).
Current vaccinations, including flu, Tdap, and proof of Covid-19 vaccination and boosters.
