Meet Our Lilac Family!
About the Family
This lovely, warm, and down-to-earth family, based in a beautiful, walkable neighborhood of Mill Valley, is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their adorable 9-week-old baby girl. Both parents work from home and have created a calm, welcoming environment where connection, communication, and positive parenting are at the forefront.
They live in a cozy two-bedroom home near the park, making it easy to enjoy daily walks and outings. Their home has an office space as well.
Their approach to parenting is thoughtful and engaged, and they are looking for a nanny who can complement that dynamic with both experience and a genuine love for working with infants.
They view their nanny as a true extension of themselves—someone who will be a trusted partner in raising their child and an integral part of their family’s day-to-day life.
While they are open to starting with a temporary placement, their ultimate goal is to find a long-term fit. They are looking for someone who will grow with their family and become a consistent, trusted presence in their baby’s life.
They also have a sweet Labradoodle who will happily welcome a few extra cuddles.
Their Ideal Candidate
Their ideal nanny is warm, engaging, and experienced with newborns, with a strong understanding of early developmental milestones. This person brings a calm, confident presence and is intuitive in their care, able to anticipate needs and move through the day with ease and intention. They are looking for someone who can share their expertise and partner with them on child care and child development, offering guidance, collaboration, and a thoughtful approach to supporting their child’s growth.
They would love a nanny who is proactive, organized, and naturally thoughtful when it comes to early childhood development. Someone who enjoys getting out into the community will thrive in this role, whether that’s walks to the park, story time, or music classes.
The family values a positive, respectful parenting approach and is looking for someone who feels aligned with that philosophy. They see this role as a collaborative partnership and are hoping to welcome someone who feels like a natural extension of their family.
