WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE A NANNY?
I have been a nanny for 10+ years and I do love the mix of being a nanny and family assistant. At the end of the day, I find purpose helping families and make them life easier and I also being around kids. I love how simple kids are and our exchange of teaching and learning from each other.

WHAT IS YOUR COMMUNICATION STYLE WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR EMPLOYERS? ANY EXAMPLES TO SHARE?
I do prefer straightforward communication, meaning I like when families tell me what they expect from me. For example, with this current family I work with, she shares everything on an app what she expects from me that day and I can mark as it done, this way she also can see the tasks I have completed, and it works very well because I can have a sense of how the day will be. It does not have to be this way, but I do like to see what she expects from me.
WHAT TYPE OF NANNY ROLE ARE YOU LOOKING FOR AND WHAT ENVIRONMENT YOU WOULD BE MOST SUCCESSFUL IN
I’m looking for a nanny/house management position. I am very good at multitasking so I can accomplish multiple tasks while also taking care of children.
PLEASE DESCRIBE HOW YOU HAVE TAKEN INITIATIVE AS A NANNY OR WHILE WORKING WITH A FAMILY?
I have taken initiative finding new games to play with kids and activities. Also, finding ways to be more proactive during the day as a family assistant, for example: if I have to do something outside of home, I would do everything at once etc.
WHAT ARE YOUR DISCIPLINE PHILOSOPHY AND CHILD-REARING VALUES?
I usually try to follow the same philosophy as the parents, but I also have my own values: I tend to be gentle, communicative, and kind. But I also can feel when I have to be more firm, direct, and set limits.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BIGGEST CHALLENGE AS A NANNY OR WHILE WORKING WITH A FAMILY?
My biggest challenge was when I was being nanny share and the babies did not have the same schedule and personality. So it was hard to find ways to help them to sink in with each other.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES & INTERESTS?
I love being in nature and explore new trails around the Bay Area. I love animals and try to be around them as much as I can. I do like to find recipes, learning languages (ate least trying), graphic design, road trips, decoration styles etc.
