Most of my career I have thrived being a caregiver, nanny and family assistant for the last 14 years of my life (ages ranging from just 6 weeks old up to high school age). My family is originally from Guadalajara Mexico, which means I love to cook and bake.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans and cooks healthy, well balanced meals meals for the family
Keeps the kitchen and pantry stocked, orders items as necessary
Grocery shops, runs errands for the family, and helps to maintain the family vehicle, kids bikes, sports equipment, and everything related to kids activities
Helps plan kids activities, source instructors, oversee and transport kids to their activities such as sports and other extracurriculars
Ensures kids are well prepared for their daily activities, including preparing all meals and snacks, dressing appropriately, daily hygiene (bathing, brushing teeth, flossing, keeping hair and nails groomed) as well as administering any medications or sunscreen
Assists with light housekeeping including washing and putting away dishes, washing kids clothes, tidying up after kids and keeping all areas organized and clean
Communicates well with all family members, other household staff and nannies to ensure a smoothly run household and safety and well being of the children
Travels with the family often and helps to plan activities, pack accordingly, and coordinate the meals during the trip

Sparks creativity and imagination while helping children learn new and exciting things each day. For example, observing animals and birds on a nature walk or learning to measure and mix ingredients while baking bread.

I Love to go above and beyond for my families and provided as much help and support as I can. So I always take the Initiative to check in with them if they need anything or I encourage them to go on date nights Since its always needed.
WHAT ARE YOUR DISCIPLINE PHILOSOPHY AND CHILD-REARING VALUES?
All Children have a heart and are sensitive. I like to direct the children by taken a break depending on there age from whatever there doing and circling back to what they were doing or moving on to another fun activity. As to rearing values on a child, I always encourage honesty, compassion, trustworthiness, and respect.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BIGGEST CHALLENGE AS A NANNY OR WHILE WORKING WITH A FAMILY?
I believe my biggest challenge by far as a nanny, has been the transition when a child goes into school. I create such a wonderful bondage and I believe for me that's the biggest one.
