About the Family
This warm and bustling family in Noe Valley is seeking a thoughtful and energetic Family Assistant and Afternoon Evening Nanny to join their home. They are parents to three children: a five-year-old, a three-year-old, and a five-month-old baby. Their household is lively, loving, and full of activity. They value kindness, warmth, and a strong work ethic, and they appreciate open communication and a positive presence in their home.
They currently have a daytime nanny, so this role is designed to provide afternoon and evening support. There will be a short daily overlap with their daytime nanny to ensure smooth handoffs and consistent routines. Some days will be more child-focused, especially when parents are working late or traveling. Other days, when parents are home and engaged with the children, the role will lean more into household and family assistant support. Flexibility and comfort, switching gears are key.

Responsibilities
Childcare
• Engage with the children in afternoon activities and play
• Take over care of all three children during afternoon and evening hours when needed
• Support the bedtime routine, including light meal prep, cleanup, and bedtime rituals
• Provide nurturing care for a newborn alongside school-age children
• Maintain high engagement and a positive presence
Family Assistant Support
• Schedule and coordinate household vendors
• Manage package routing and returns
• Run local errands as needed
• Support home organization projects
• Assist with light meal preparation
• Use digital tools such as Google Docs for communication and planning
Additional Notes
• Must be able to work in coordination with the current nanny
• Must be flexible and comfortable switching between childcare and household tasks
• Must be organized, tidy, and proactive
• Positive, friendly demeanor is essential
Must-Have Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is a must
Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Willingness to undergo background checks and DMV check
Current vaccinations, including flu, Tdap, and proof of COVID-19 vaccination and boosters.
