THEIR GENUINE NANNY
Meet Our Orchid Family!
About the Family
This relaxed and thoughtful family lives near Mission Dolores Park and recently welcomed their first child, a sweet five-month-old baby girl. Originally from London, both parents work in tech and will be returning to work in mid-February after parental leave. They value kindness, empathy, quality time together, and spending time outdoors, and they are creating a calm, nurturing home environment for their daughter. They enjoy getting out during the day for walks, baby swim classes, library story time, and meeting friends at local cafes. Their household is screen-free for baby care, pet-free, and centered around connection, curiosity, and gentle routines.
Our family is seeking a candidate who lives locally and can speak an additional language, as this will support both day‑to‑day logistics and our goal of providing early multilingual exposure.
Their Ideal Candidate
Their ideal nanny is warm, empathetic, and genuinely enjoys engaging with infants through stories, songs, and meaningful interaction. This person is comfortable following baby-led cues and understands upcoming developmental milestones, including the introduction of solids. A background in infant care is important, and openness to a potential nanny share is a plus. The family is looking for someone who aligns with their parenting philosophy of leading with empathy while maintaining clear, age-appropriate boundaries for safety and security.
