THEIR GENUINE NANNY
Meet Our Lavender Family!
About the Family
This warm and welcoming Novato family is looking for a long-term, full-time nanny to care for their two children — a curious, imaginative 2.5-year-old daughter and her sweet 3-month-old baby brother. They’ve created a home environment that values respect, honesty, and kindness, not just within their family but with everyone involved in their children’s lives. Mom will be home for the next several months and Dad works from home part-time, so the right nanny will be comfortable working alongside parents while also taking the lead in daily routines and activities. With a mix of structure, healthy living, and plenty of fun, this family enjoys park outings, the farmers market, music time, traveling to see relatives, and cozy movie nights at home. Their small dog, Lucy, rounds out the household.
Note From the Family
“Our 2.5-year-old is a bright and ever-changing little soul! She loves gymnastics, music class, story time, park playdates, and anything involving swings and big slides. At home, she has a wonderful imagination — we often play pretend cooking, princess, or ‘adventures’ searching for flowers and bugs in the backyard. She’s very musically inclined and enjoys arts and crafts. Baby Luke, at 3 months, adores tummy time, smiling at his big sister, and going for car rides. We’re a family who values respect, honesty, consistency, and fun. We believe in clear expectations, teaching through patience, and modeling the behavior we hope to see. Our ideal nanny will be part of our team, helping our children grow through love, structure, creativity, and joy — and hopefully will be with us for many years to come.”
Their Ideal Candidate
The family hopes to find an experienced, confident nanny who is warm, patient, and genuinely passionate about early childhood development. The ideal person will have a track record of caring for infants and toddlers together and can balance each child’s individual needs. She will be playful and engaging—reading books in silly voices, getting down on the floor for pretend play, and designing age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through fun. Reliability, consistency, and open communication are essential. The nanny should feel like part of the team, partnering with parents to help the children meet milestones, bring new ideas to the table, and maintain smooth daily routines. A safe driver, comfortable with a small dog, and ideally able to support Spanish language development, will be a great fit. Light household tasks related to the children, occasional travel, and flexibility for overnights or weekends with notice are all part of the role.
