THEIR GENUINE NANNY
Meet Our Lavender Family!
About the Family
A warm and grounded family in San Carlos is seeking a caring nanny/family assistant to become part of their daily rhythm. They have two school-age children who love being active, exploring parks and museums, and engaging in arts & crafts. Their home includes a friendly dog, so being comfortable with pets is essential. Both parents work full-time, and over the years, they have had wonderful, long-term nannies. The family lives by values of kindness, inclusivity, hard work, and good character. They believe in structure, open communication, and raising children who are curious, generous, and resilient. Their home is a sanctuary where love and consistency meet growth and joyful moments.
Their Ideal Candidate
They are looking for someone warm, empathetic, and proactive—someone who can integrate seamlessly into their home culture. While prior experience with neurodivergent children is a plus, it’s not required—instead, a genuine willingness to learn, adapt, and offer consistent kindness matters most. The candidate must be reliable, punctual, and capable of anticipating the needs of both the household and children. You should be skilled in guiding routines, supporting homework, helping children stay organized, and fostering responsibility. Light household support, meal prep for the children, and driving to after-school activities are part of the role. And because the family dog is very much part of their lives, someone who loves dogs is a great fit.
The Schedule: Our ideal hours: (we are happy to be flexible based on the needs of the candidate).
