THEIR GENUINE NANNY

Meet Our Lavender Family!

About the Family

This returning Genuine Nanny Family in Downtown San Francisco near Union Square is excited to welcome a new long-term nanny to their team. They previously partnered with Genuine Nannies to find their wonderful nanny, Emma Pearson, and are looking forward to finding someone equally special as their current nanny transitions out around April.

They are parents to two bright and engaging children, a four-year-old daughter and an eight-year-old son. Their home is lively, organized, and full of personality. Both parents have busy professional lives. Mom splits her time between working from home and commuting to Menlo Park a few days per week. Dad also maintains a demanding work schedule. They deeply value having a nanny who feels like an extension of them. Someone who can guide, mentor, and support their children with warmth and confidence while also helping the household flow smoothly.

Grandparents live nearby and visit often, adding to the sense of community around the children. The family also spends time at their Sonoma home, especially in the summer, and would love a nanny who is open to joining them occasionally. They are laid-back, appreciative, and straightforward communicators who value initiative, awareness, and genuine partnership.

Their Ideal Candidate

The ideal nanny is confident with school-age children and naturally steps into a leadership role with kindness and clear boundaries. They are attentive to what the children need, proactive in keeping routines on track, and engaging in play, homework support, and after-school activities. They are equally comfortable helping with light household coordination related to the children, staying organized, and communicating openly with parents.

This role is a wonderful fit for someone who enjoys balancing childcare with family assistant-style support, takes pride in follow-through, and values being part of a collaborative home environment. Reliability, flexibility, and a warm presence are key.

This is a special opportunity to join a thoughtful, appreciative family that values professionalism, warmth, and partnership.
