THEIR GENUINE NANNY
Meet Our Forget Me Not Family!
About the Family
A warm, accomplished family in Presidio Heights is looking for an exceptional long-term nanny and family assistant to become an integral part of their household. Their previous nanny was with them for four years, and they are hoping to find another dedicated professional who is excited to grow alongside their family for years to come.
Their home is energetic, organized, and well-run. Both parents have demanding careers, requiring someone proactive, dependable, and naturally steps in wherever needed. Mom travels regularly between San Francisco, Los Gatos, and Los Angeles for work, so flexibility and confidence in managing the household during those times are important.
The role is approximately 60% family assistant responsibilities and 40% direct childcare.
The family has two wonderful children, ages 9 and 6, who are bright, engaging, creative, and full of personality. Both children have ADHD and thrive with caregivers who lead with warmth, patience, humor, and positive reinforcement. The family works closely with a child psychologist and values collaborative guidance over rigid discipline. They are looking for someone who can build strong relationships while confidently helping the children navigate big emotions and daily routines.
The Ideal Candidate
This position is perfect for a career nanny who brings both emotional intelligence and exceptional organizational skills. You are calm under pressure, highly proactive, and naturally stay one step ahead. You enjoy working with confident, spirited children and know how to balance structure with flexibility.
The right candidate is playful, warm, and engaging while also serving as a steady, mature presence within the home. Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a positive attitude are essential. The family would love someone who genuinely enjoys cooking healthy meals, takes pride in creating organized systems, and values becoming a trusted long-term member of the household.
A confident driver is required, as much of the afternoon involves school pickups and transportation to activities using the family’s vehicle.
Flexibility for occasional overnight care while parents travel for work is highly valued.
