THEIR GENUINE NANNY

Meet Our Sweet Pea Family!

About The Family

A warm and active family in Marin, located in Mill Valley in the Strawberry neighborhood, is seeking a long‑term nanny to join their household starting in May. They have three energetic, affectionate boys who genuinely enjoy spending time together. The oldest is entering 5th grade and is thoughtful, athletic, and involved in music. Their middle child is starting 2nd grade and brings curiosity, creativity, and a love of reading and building. Their youngest is entering TK and is imaginative, snuggly, and determined to keep up with his older brothers.

The family loves staying active—hiking, canoeing on the Bay, watching sports, playing board games, and cooking together. Their home is lively, warm, and full of movement. During the workweek, the nanny will take full lead on the children’s schedules, including school pickups, activities, homework support, and afternoon structure. Both parents work three days a week in San Francisco and from home the remaining days. They value independence, strong judgment, and open communication, and they treat their nanny as a professional partner in raising happy, kind, capable kids.

Their Ideal Candidate

The family is seeking a seasoned professional who thrives with school‑age children and can confidently manage busy schedules, transitions, and after‑school routines. A local Marin candidate is preferred. Strong English communication skills are essential, as the boys are older and require clear guidance, structure, and support. The ideal candidate is steady, proactive, organized, and excited to grow with the family long‑term—ideally 5 to 10 years. Someone who enjoys being part of a collaborative household and can support both the children and the parents with consistency and reliability will thrive here.

The family has two cats in the home, so this role is best suited for candidates without cat allergies.

The Schedule

This role follows a split‑shift structure Monday through Friday, with morning hours from 7:00/7:30 am to 10:00 am and afternoon hours from school pickup through 6:00 pm. Thursday includes an early school pickup at 1:45 pm as well as extended evening coverage for a weekly date night until approximately 9:00 pm. One day each week, Wednesday, is a full‑day schedule rather than a split shift, and the nanny should also be comfortable providing coverage on school holidays, children’s sick days, and occasional overnights.
