WHAT TYPE OF NANNY ROLE ARE YOU LOOKING FOR AND WHAT ENVIRONMENT YOU WOULD BE MOST SUCCESSFUL IN
I would love to work with a young infant (3 months +) and be able to stay long term with the same family. As long as there is mutual respect, good communication and honesty, I think I have a successful experience.
PLEASE DESCRIBE HOW YOU HAVE TAKEN INITIATIVE IN YOUR PAST NANNY POSITIONS
A simple example, I bought diapers for the child when there was only 1 left in the package, when we went to the park. When I communicated that to the parent, there were diapers if needed.
WHAT ARE YOUR DISCIPLINE PHILOSOPHY AND CHILD-REARING VALUES?
I believe in routine with children and in communication. It's possible to have limits and discipline in loving ways.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BIGGEST CHALLENGE AS A NANNY OR WHILE WORKING WITH A FAMILY?
I believe that it is when parents that are home during the day want to "say hi" or play with the child while I'm working. The child always want to be with parents and that will disrupt our routine.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES & INTERESTS?
I enjoy swimming (in a pool only!), hiking, watching movies, going for walks, hanging out with friends.
