Hi there, I go by my middle name Angel. I’ve always wanted to work with kids. I got an early start doing a super sitter class at the local hospital when I was 12 years old. I’ve been a baby magnet ever since! I Worked in the church nursery as a teenager and worked as a preschool teacher in my 20’s. I have 3 children ( who are adults) and I have been a career nanny since 2006.
My husband and I just recently moved to the area, I commuted from Sacramento while working in San Francisco since 2019. We love it here! In my spare time I like to crochet and do crafts . We also take our dog shorty out on the weekends to local parks, so many dog friendly things to do here!
I feel like my experience has gifted me with many strengths. I love the new babies and have a calming effect on them. I have a lot of patience which is definitely a must for working with kids. I feel confident to come along side new parents and support them. I feel this is a strength that has come from myself being a parent but also caring for several different babies with different personalities.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE A NANNY?
I have always been and will always be a nanny. It’s part of me all the time. I choose to work with kids because it makes my heart happy. I have 3 grown children of my own and still have a lot more love to share.
I’m eager to find a warm family who appreciates open communication. I like to bond with my families as they become a part of my family too. I love supporting new parents, infants are my favorite to work with! Hoping to find a family I can grow with and stay with long term.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide safe and age appropriate activities as well as following parent’s schedule for feeding and sleeping. As child grew, provided educational games and outing and lots of love.

WHAT IS YOUR COMMUNICATION STYLE WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR EMPLOYERS? ANY EXAMPLES TO SHARE?
I have a wear my heart on my sleeve kind of communication with my families. What you see if what you get and I’m very authentic in my relationships. I appreciate the same from other people as I want to be aware of any concerns right away.

I do best in an open communication environment that fosters healthy work relationships. I’m looking for a full time long term position

My personality is a bit subtle at first. I kind of read the situation first and then decide how I can best help. As I get to know the family, we will communicate on how this works best for the child. Communication is key! I need to have open communication daily with the parents to make sure the child is getting the best care possible.
WHAT ARE YOUR DISCIPLINE PHILOSOPHY AND CHILD-REARING VALUES?
Positive reinforcement and re direction of negative behavior. I have many tricks in my hat to working with sensitive and stressed kiddos
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BIGGEST CHALLENGE AS A NANNY OR WHILE WORKING WITH A FAMILY?
I think the Loneliness of not having any co workers has been a challenge for me. I do try to find Nannie’s with similar age children to meet up With for playdates to help with this issue.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES & INTERESTS?
I love taking photographs and making end of the year scrapbooks for my nanny families. I also enjoy creative art like painting and crocheting
WHAT MAKES YOU SPARKLE?
I think watching children discover things ( like seeing a giraffe in person for the first time) sparkes joy in me too! I’m most happy when I have a house full of kids and we are playing games, baking, and cuddling with the animals.
