Hi! I'm a down-to-earth, dynamic, well-rounded, warm, silly, and driven woman. I built my own tiny home and have been living 100% off-grid for about seven years; I love it! While it has its challenges, I have learned so many new skills from it and now have more depth, grit, and resiliency as a result. I love to spend the free time I have working on projects with my partner, hanging out with my friends and family, relaxing, backpacking and adventuring in nature, and snuggling my cat.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE A NANNY?
I adore being a nanny for many reasons but the top few are these: I cherish what working with babies does for my life perspective; often times throughout the day I will feel like the world is new or magical all over again. Children keep me present. I also feel natural being an integral part of a family system outside of my own, I consider it an honor to be invited to work with a family. Also, this amazing career has afforded me the breaks in-between families to travel the world!

I'd describe myself as an extraverted introvert; sunny, playful, driven and deep. My Meyers Briggs personality is ENFP (extroverted, intuition, feeling, perception). I'd say my strengths are definitely my intuition, patience, forthrightness, loyalty, and practicality. I take my work very seriously and am punctual, discreet, engaged, and sincere. WHAT ARE YOUR DISCIPLINE PHILOSOPHY AND CHILD-REARING VALUES?
My opinion when it comes to children is that they are complex, amazing little people that deserve respect and are highly intelligent, even in the womb. My disciplinary philosophy tends towards a natural consequences/positive discipline approach vs. an authoritarian/ punitive punishment approach. Though no child is exactly alike, I have found that by consciously engaging children and providing the right stimulating environment and communication tools, many frustrations can be avoided (even baby sign language can help a lot!) I think children thrive in environments where healthy boundaries are clear and held firmly, with love.
