Responsibilities
Childcare Duties
Provide loving and attentive care for two school-age children
Prepare children for school and manage morning routines
Pick up children from school and drive to after-school activities
Support homework and school projects
Engage children in creative play, conversation, and activities
Guide emotional regulation and big feelings with patience and confidence
Prepare a light dinner for the children
Support evening routines and bedtime preparation
Family Assistant Duties
A nice-to-have is the ability to plan and prepare kid-friendly, fresh meals.
Manage children’s laundry and wardrobe organization
Tidy common areas related to children’s use
Coordinate with vendors and building concierge when needed
Anticipate household needs and help maintain smooth daily flow
Schedule and Compensation
Full-time position
Typical schedule 7:00/7:30 am to 6:00 pm
Earlier start on days when mom is traveling
Occasional overnight coverage as needed
$45 to $50+ per hour plus benefits
Family car provided and parking available
Additional Details
Two friendly Cavalier dogs in the home with separate care support
Housekeeper in place
Occasional travel is a nice bonus but not required
Long-term mindset strongly preferred
To ensure the success of our nanny position, we have established the following requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of recent, professional experience in childcare.
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Impressive references from past employers, demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and exceptional childcare skills.
Willingness to undergo two background checks, namely Trustline and Nanny Verify, ensuring the safety and security of our children.
Valid U.S. citizenship or work authorization.
Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
CPR certification (if applicable).
Current vaccinations, including flu, Tdap, and proof of Covid-19 vaccination and boosters.
