ABOUT THE FAMILY
A warm, returning Genuine Nannies family in Presidio Heights is seeking an experienced and collaborative Support Nanny to join their established household team. The family has three boys, ages 4 months, 3 years, and 5 years, and already employs a wonderful live-in nanny who was placed through Genuine Nannies.
This is a casual, welcoming household that values professionalism, teamwork, good communication, and a genuine love of children. The ideal candidate understands how to step into an established, multi-staffed home, work seamlessly alongside others, and contribute wherever needed without ego.
With three children at very different developmental stages, the family is looking for someone who is equally comfortable providing attentive infant care and engaging with active preschool and school-age children.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal nanny is calm, loving, engaging, organized, and thoughtful, with strong infant experience and the confidence to care for multiple children.
With the older boys, this person should be warm and playful while also being comfortable holding clear, age-appropriate boundaries. The family appreciates someone who brings a grounded, steady presence to the home and can move easily between nurturing a baby and engaging older children.
A true team-player mentality is essential. This is a multi-staffed household, and the nanny should enjoy collaborating with the family’s existing nanny and other household staff. Someone flexible, communicative, professional, and willing to pitch in will thrive in this environment.
The household itself is casual and down-to-earth, but the family’s expectations around reliability, discretion, professionalism, and quality of care are high.
CHILDCARE RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities will center around supporting the family’s three boys and working in partnership with the existing nanny. Duties may include:
Providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care for the family’s 4-month-old
Supporting feeding, naps, play, developmental milestones, and the baby’s evolving routine
Engaging the 3- and 5-year-old boys in creative, active, and age-appropriate activities
Helping with school and activity routines as needed
Maintaining loving but consistent boundaries with the older children
Preparing or assisting with children’s meals and snacks
Keeping children’s spaces, belongings, and daily routines organized
Anticipating the children’s needs and helping the household run smoothly
Collaborating closely with the family’s existing nanny and other household staff
Traveling with the family and helping maintain consistency and routines while away
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong professional nanny experience
Significant hands-on infant experience
Experience caring for multiple children and different age groups
Confident managing preschool and school-age behavior with calm, consistent boundaries
Comfortable working in a multi-staffed private household
Collaborative and genuinely team-oriented
Warm, engaging, patient, and emotionally steady
Highly organized, thoughtful, and proactive
Professional while comfortable in a casual family environment
Flexible and adaptable as children’s and household needs evolve
Comfortable with domestic and international travel
Seeking a long-term position and relationship with a family
REQUIREMENTS

To ensure the success of our nanny position, we have established the following requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of recent, professional experience in childcare.
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Impressive references from past employers, demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and exceptional childcare skills.
Willingness to undergo two background checks, namely Trustline and Nanny Verify, ensuring the safety and security of our children.
Valid U.S. citizenship or work authorization.
Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
CPR certification (if applicable).
Current vaccinations, including flu, Tdap, and proof of Covid-19 vaccination and boosters.
