THEIR GENUINE NANNY
Meet Our Hydrangea Family!
About the Family
This adorable and active Hydrangea family recently relocated to Woodside, and they’re looking for someone special to join them in caring for their sweet 9-month-old. Their life spans coasts—each year, they spend January through March at their horse ranch in Florida, which keeps things interesting. Family is at the core of their home; their son absolutely adores his grandmother, who visits often and plays a big role in their days.
They share their home with a rambunctious German Shepherd and two cats, so a genuine love for animals and the outdoors is essential in addition to child care. The family values nurturing growth, wonder, and curiosity from the start. They’re hoping for a nanny who is loving, dependable, and sharp—someone who can bring joy, warmth, and structure to everyday moments. If you thrive on variety, enjoy helping little ones explore their world, and travel isn’t just a necessity but also an adventure, this position could feel like a wonderful match.
The family has private live-in accommodations for the nanny should she choose to live in. Their ranch in Florida has a private space for the nanny as well.
Their Ideal Candidate
The family is seeking a travel-ready nanny with strong infant experience who feels confident supporting developmental milestones through play, reading, and exploration. Someone who is mentally alert, proactive, and takes initiative without needing to be directed on every detail. They want a candidate who is both highly dependable and emotionally warm, who enjoys the little moments, and brings consistency to routines that help the baby feel secure and thriving.
Comfort around animals is important—someone who is relaxed with dogs and cats—and loves being outdoors. Because of the bi-coastal nature of the job, travel experience and flexibility are needed. They hope to find a long-term person who is excited about growing with the family and fitting into their rhythm and lifestyle.

Maintain clear, open communication with parents about baby’s progress, needs, daily rhythms, and any observations
Adapt plans and activities for both the California home and the Florida ranch; assist with packing, travel logistics, and settling in when the family moves between locations
Create a warm, stable environment that supports consistency and structure, so the baby can thrive emotionally and physically
Be prepared for occasional weekend or travel-related work, keeping energy and engagement high even when schedules shift
