THEIR GENUINE NANNY
Meet Our Hydrangea Family!
About the Family
This warm and thoughtful family in the Inner Richmond neighborhood of San Francisco is seeking a long‑term family assistant who enjoys cooking for the family and assisting with the care of their sweet seven‑month‑old daughter. She is a joyful baby who loves music, singing, and having books read to her. The family also has a two‑and‑a‑half‑year‑old son who has his own nanny, so this role is primarily focused on their daughter’s care. 75% of the daily time will be focused on cooking and tidying up the kitchen.
They appreciate a calm, nurturing energy, reliability, and someone who is fully present during working hours. This is a long‑term opportunity for a family assistant and nanny who wants to grow with a family and take ownership of supporting a child’s early development.
Their Ideal Candidate
Their ideal nanny is experienced in the kitchen and with infants and genuinely loves this stage of childhood. She is warm, attentive, and safety‑focused. She takes pride in being present and engaged, enjoys supporting developmental milestones, and understands the importance of consistent routines. She is reliable, organized, and professional, with minimal personal phone use during working hours. She communicates clearly with parents and is comfortable working in a home where parents are sometimes present.
The family is now prioritizing someone confident and comfortable in the kitchen, as cooking and kitchen cleanup will make up the majority of the daily four‑hour shift. The nanny will also spend about an hour engaging their toddler between the time the daytime nanny signs off and when Mom finishes work. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys cooking, staying organized, and supporting a smooth household rhythm while still providing warm, attentive childcare.
