THEIR GENUINE NANNY
Meet Our Hydrangea Family!
About the Family
A warm and thoughtful Bernal Heights family is seeking a nurturing Nanny/Family Assistant to support their sweet and spirited 2.5-year-old daughter through an exciting season of growth and transition. They are looking for someone who can jump in right away and provide full-time care through the summer before transitioning into a long-term part-time role once preschool begins in late August.
The family previously enjoyed both a nanny share arrangement and a dedicated nanny relationship and understands the value of having a trusted caregiver become an important part of their child’s life. They recently parted ways with their nanny and are eager to find someone who can bring stability, warmth, and confidence to their daughter’s daily routine.
This summer will be especially meaningful as their daughter prepares for preschool and the family settles into a new home. They would love to find a caregiver who enjoys this age group and can help navigate important milestones while creating a calm, engaging, and supportive environment.
Their Ideal Candidate
Their ideal candidate has extensive toddler experience and genuinely enjoys the wonder, curiosity, and energy that come with this age. They are looking for someone patient, grounded, and nurturing while also bringing structure and consistency to the day.
A background in Montessori, RIE, or other child-led philosophies would be a wonderful bonus. Experience supporting potty training and preschool transitions is highly valued, as is someone who can provide thoughtful guidance while encouraging independence.
This family would love to meet a candidate who enjoys being active, spending time outdoors, and exploring the city. Bernal Heights is full of hills, parks, and adventures, so someone who is energetic and enjoys getting out and about with children will thrive in this role.
