Step 1: Call me to schedule an in-home meeting to assess your individual family needs. We will discuss in detail your childcare needs, your ideal Nanny, salary and benefits, tax and labor laws, as well as what to expect in the coming weeks.
Step 2: I start the recruiting process for your Nanny. I personally screen my applicants through multiple exchanges including an initial phone interview, a two-hour in-person interview and reference checks. The average placement is completed within 2-3 weeks but can take up to 4 weeks.
Step 3: You will receive detailed Nanny profiles that include their picture, interview Q&A, job qualifications, references, letter of recommendation and related experience. You can call to schedule interviews once you have decided who you would like to meet.
Step 4: Most families invite one or more candidates for a 1-5 day working interview. This is a great way to get to know the Nanny better and make sure it is a good fit for everyone. At the end of the working interview you can offer the Nanny the job.
Step 5: Once the conditional work agreement is signed the Nannies employment is contingent based on the pre-determined conditions laid out in the contract. This includes the final results of the Trustline registry and any other agreed upon conditions. Following your signed conditional work agreement the remainder of the placement fee is due.
Step 6: I provide post employment resources including legal, tax, and contractual agreements through my partner Bob King at LegallyNanny.com. Should you need it, last minute backup Nanny care is also available upon request.
